Age Restriction (as on February 23, 2015):.
For candidates belonging to SC category; Minimum 18 years however not more than 27 years.
For candidates coming from OBC (non-creamy layer) sector; minimum 18 years but not greater than 25 years.

Qualification.
Educational Certification.

Plant Operation, Laboratory & Basic Science (HP).
Prospect ought to have passed HSC (10 +2) with not less compared to 60 each cent marks in aggregate and should have studied Physics, Chemistry as well as Maths as main topics.

Lab, Basic Science (HP) & Fitter.
Candidate should have passed either HSC (10 +2) with not less than 60 per cent in accumulation with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as main topics or SSC with not less than 60 each cent in accumulation. In addition to the above, prospects must possess an Industrial Training Institute/ National Council for Vocational Training (ITI/NCVT) credentials in particular trade(Fitter/ Electrical/ Electronic devices) which ought to be either of the following: 1) ITI/NCVT in the appropriate trade of 2 years period or 2) ITI in the relevant trade of one year duration plus one year appropriate encounter after conclusion of the training course.

Pay Scale.
Technician/C Rs 5,200-20,200 plus Quality Pay Rs 2,400.
Technician/B Rs 5,200-20,200 plus Quality Rs 2,000.
